Dear Parents
Here at Winstanley we are always on the look-out for new and better ways to communicate with students, parents and other stakeholders.
For several years we have valued feedback from parents through our Parents Liaison Group which meets each term for parents to air any issues or concerns with the Principal and Vice-Principal. It was at one such meeting recently that the idea of the Parent’s webpage was suggested. “What a good idea!” we thought and so we’ve wasted no time in getting it up and running.
With adolescent children of my own, I know from personal experience that communication between teenagers and their parents is not always straightforward! With this in mind I hope you find the information here to be of use in supporting your son or daughter during their time at College.
Feedback is always useful, so any suggestions about how the page could be improved would be welcomed. Indeed, you might consider becoming a member of the Parents’ Liaison Group yourself. Please contact the Principal’s PA on 01695 628606 if you would like to be invited to the next meeting.
